(FCA, Junction Turning) Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
(FCA, Junction Turning)
The G70 warns and automatically assists in braking as needed if the preceding vehicle suddenly slows or if there is a high risk of a front-end collision due to a stopped vehicle or sudden appearance of pedestrians or cyclists. Braking assistance is also applied when a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle is detected when turning left at an intersection.
When BCA detects an imminent collision from the backside while making a lane change or leaving a parking lot from the car’s parallel-parked position, it sends an alert and, if the risk of collision increases even after the alert, the BCA assists to avoid the collision through automatic brake activation.
